See the real CTC before you negotiate.
Base, variable and ESOPs, split out by company, level and city. Plus how each interview round actually goes. Shared anonymously by people who just went through it, and kept current.

Indian tech pay changes faster than salary sites update.
One CTC number hides the real split
Most sites show a single figure. Base, variable and ESOP get mixed together, and variable-heavy offers look better than they are.
Old numbers, thin Indian data
Bands get restructured and pay resets with every hiring wave. A three-year-old entry sets the wrong anchor for your negotiation.
Interview intel is scattered
Round structure and question patterns are buried in old Reddit threads and WhatsApp groups. There's no single, current view per company.
Three things, done properly.
Salary breakdowns
Company pages with pay bands by level.
- Base, variable, ESOP and total CTC
- Filter by role, level, YOE, city
- Sample size shown on every number
Interview experiences
How each company's process actually runs.
- Round types and number of rounds
- Questions tagged by topic, with difficulty
- Outcome and days from application to result
Negotiation outcomes
Whether people negotiated, and what moved.
- Negotiated vs first-offer comparisons
- Recent offers weighted above old ones
- Level names mapped across companies (SDE-2 = SE II = SSE)
The rules I'm building in from day one.
Salary data is personal. Here's exactly how I'll handle yours.
Anonymous by design
No public profile and no name on any entry. Your email is only used for rate-limiting and is stored hashed where possible. It's never shown next to your data.
Labelled honestly
Until real verification exists, every entry is marked "self-reported, unverified". You won't see a fake "verified" badge here.
Fresh data counts more
Entries older than 12 months are flagged and count for less in averages. Every number shows how many people it's based on.
Outliers get a human check
A CTC far outside the norm for that role and level is held for manual review before it goes public. CAPTCHA and rate limits block spam.
No naming people
Interview stories can't identify an interviewer or any individual. Moderation removes anything that does.
Minimal data, DPDP-aligned
I collect only what the feature needs and keep no extra personal data, following India's DPDP Act. Nothing is scraped and republished.
Would you use this?
I'm planning to build TechSalaryIndia and want to know if it's useful before I start. If you'd use it, leave your email. It takes 30 seconds, there's no commitment, and you'll hear first when it's live.

Before you sign up
Will my employer know I shared my salary?
No. Entries carry no name or profile. Your account exists only to stop spam and is never shown. When a company has very few entries, I'll show ranges and sample sizes rather than single exact figures.
How do I know the numbers are real?
In v1 you can't be fully sure, and the site will say so on every entry. Outlier checks, freshness weighting and sample sizes make the picture more reliable. Real verification arrives in v2.
Is it free?
Yes. Sharing and searching salary and interview data will be free. Later, the plan is to fund it with anonymised, aggregated benchmark reports for recruiters, never by selling individual data.
How is this different from Glassdoor or AmbitionBox?
It focuses only on Indian tech. It splits CTC into base, variable and ESOP, maps levels across companies, and weights recent data above old data.
Who's building this?
I'm Nitin Jain, an independent builder working in Indian tech. You can check who I am on LinkedIn before signing up.
